After Noah, part antique shop, part contemporary homeware store and part toy shop was established in 1990 by Zoë Candlin and Matthew Crawford. Matthew had taken over his grandfather's cabinet-making and antique furniture restoration business and textile designer Zoë combined their skills to create a shop with a unique look at the time, mixing old and new together.

In 2001, After Noah, expanded into the shop next door which was dedicated to a traditional toy shop filled with fun, well-made, charming toys & games. In 2020 they added an 18 metre high conservatory to the back of the building creating a space to display garden furniture and outdoor accessories. Together with their team, Zoë and Matthew have created a unique home, gift and toy store.
