WHAT WE LOVE
New York Times -bestselling author, Emma Straub and her husband, Michael Fusco-Straub opened independent bookstore Books Are Magic in Cobble Hill in 2017. In 2022 they opened a second location on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights.
Both Books Are Magic are neighborhood bookstores with a selection of children's, young adult and adult books. They offer free and affordable events featuring both new and established authors.
