A love of clothing and motorcycles inspired Alexander DiMattio and Adam Kallen to establish Jane Motorcycles in 2013. Jane Motorcycles is a fresh take on a motorcycle shop appealing to motorcycle enthusiasts and neighborhood locals, who stop by for a coffee, alike. Located in a narrow double-height space with a coffee bar and a roll up garage door, Jane offers an array of motorcycle related books, art, gear, and apparel. The well-constructed, well-fitting clothing is designed and made in New York, some garments featuring hand-stitched embroideries and the brand's logo.

In 2021 Jane Motorcycles opened a second store in New York's NoHo neighborhood sharing the space with Brooklyn Coachworks.
