An instant success with both locals and tourists, Mary's Milk Bar is the creative vision of art college graduate, Mary Hillard, who turned her creative talents to the gelato and chocolates she makes daily before opening. The colorful, retro inspired shop serves fresh, quirky offerings that are so popular be prepared for a long queue.

Mary's experience includes working as a chocolatier for several years before attending the prestigious Carpigiani Gelato University in Bologna, Italy. A training that allows her to be experimental with her approach. Seasonal flavors change daily and Mary's Milk Bar offers unique combinations as well as classic choices, always with one or two vegan choices. Interesting flavors include Blue Cheese & Walnut Butter and Espresso Martini & Drunken Prunes alongside classics such as Milk and Hazelnut . All the gelato is made without eggs and all flavors are vegetarian. Bars of chocolate, with similarly unique flavor combinations, are wrapped in signature Mary's Milk Bar paper and tied with string.
