Founded in 2002 when artist Penelope Chilvers commissioned some Spanish artisans to create a small number of equestrian-style boots. The result, the Long Tassel boot was an immediate hit and two decades later remains a bestseller. In 2004 the Kate Middleton was seen wearing the boots conferring on them their iconic status.

Penelope Chilvers expanded the boot range to include shoes, summer sandals, and espadrilles all crafted in family-run, traditional Spanish ateliers and factories. The boots and shoes are hand-finished and constructed in a traditional style to ensure years of wear.

The colorful interior of the Notting Hill store reflects the brand's Andalusian heritage. Alongside the boots and shoes is a selection of accessories including bags, belts, socks, and dog collars.
