The Creaky Shed is a plastic-free grocery shop offering local and seasonal produce and flowers. Founded in 2002 by Jason Hunter who sources fruit and vegetables from small farms in Kent and Sussex alongside a selection of fresh herbs and spices, jams, marmalades, curds, chutneys, sauces, pickles, pure English honey, and baked goods.

The wonderful shopfront displays reflect the seasons. Baskets of produce and bunches of flowers, from spring daffodils to autumnal pumpkins and Christmas trees and wreaths.

"The delightful sight of those first Daffodil shoots. The smell of freshly cut grass. The strawberries and cream to enjoy with Wimbledon. The turning of the leaves around Halloween. Seasonal is something to be treasured and we make sure we do that to its fullest at The Creaky Shed."
