aetla showcases ethically-sourced fine jewelry by talented local and international designers and artisans. As well as a unique assortment of rings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, and cufflinks, and one-of-a-kind pieces, ætla offers a bespoke service. Established in the lovely Edinburgh neighborhood of Stockbridge in 2020 by Keira Wraae-Stewart who named the boutique ætla, a Faroese word for 'intention', a nod to both her Faroese and Scottish heritage.
Before opening ætla, Keira worked in the design and manufacture of jewelry in London and Thailand for brands such as Vivienne Westwood and Maria Francesca Pepe.
