WHAT WE LOVE

Couverture & The Garbstore in London's Notting Hill is a beautifully outfitted three-storey townhouse showcasing emerging and independent women's and men's brands alongside a selection of homeware. Cleverly positioned sky lights allow natural light to stream through the grand stairwell illuminating each floor.

Emily Dyson and Ian Paley opened Couverture & The Garbstore in 2008 which is essentially two shops housed within one space. Emily focuses on Couverture, the women's edit of clothing, accessories, jewelry, beauty, and homeware, located on the ground and first floors. The selection of men's clothing and accessories housed on lower floor is curated by Ian and is also home to his namesake menswear label.
