WHAT WE LOVE

The New York City outpost of San Francisco record shop Stranded, the retail outlet of record label Superior Viaduct. The East Village store opened in 2019, Stranded taking over the space and their inventory from Good Records, an East Village music lover's mainstay for fourteen years. Music genres range from punk to jazz, and reggae to experimental and more, in new and used vinyl. Stranded buys, sells, and trades vinyl and offers a more extensive selection of both new and used vinyl in their brick & mortar stores than online.

Stranded New York, located in the basement of a pink-painted brick building, is typical of the vibrant East Village independent shop scene. Two sister stores are located in the Bay Area, one in San Francisco and the other in Oakland.
