WHAT WE LOVE

221B Baker Street, an address made famous by Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional character, Sherlock Holmes, is fittingly a museum celebrating the iconic detective. From the London "Bobby" standing guard at the entrance (when open) to the guides in period costume and the furniture and decor, the house has been outfitted to recreate an authentic Victorian-era experience.

The privately-owned museum was founded in 1990 and though the house bears the number 221B, with permission of the City of Westminster, it is in fact located between houses 237 and 241.

For Sherlock Holmes fan the museum shop has a collection of Sherlock Holmes memorabilia, including tweed deerstalker hats, pipes and books.

A museum and shop dedicated to the celebrated fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes.
