WHAT WE LOVE

Established in 1978 as a “corner bookshop” Three Lives & Company returned to its iconic corner on West 10th Street and Waverly Place in 2022 after a temporary relocation due to a renovation of the 200-year-old building. Easily recognizable by its signature red double doors, the bookstore was founded by Jill Dunbar, Jenny Feder and Helene Webb. A West Village staple, Toby Cox took over the bookstore in 2001. Three Lives & Company is a neighborhood bookstore with a carefully edited of new and interesting books and a knowledgeable staff.
