Established in 1979 by David Tobin, Walden Books buys and sells used and rare books, specializing in literature and the visual arts. Located on a Victorian Terrace in Camden, the shopfront boasts a magnificent wisteria vine, its name is a tribute to Thoreau's Walden: Life in the Woods .

The shop consists of two ground-floor rooms, with books shelved by category. Outside, on our forecourt bargain bins are filled with cheap and cheerful paperbacks.
