Hamden General Store supplies locals and visitors alike with provisions, supplies, groceries, and treats. In May 2021 Amy Crawford reopened the general store which was originally established in the 1800s, first as a hardware store, later serving as a community general store for most of 1900s and a farm store and cafe in more recent years.

Hamden General Store is filled with locally sourced produce and products - including local beer and cider, coffee, dairy products, seasonal fresh produce, eggs, pies, and gifts. There is a good selection of fine and gourmet foods, supplies, and provisions to complement local products. There is fresh Rock Royal Coffee brewed daily and Chef Antonio Mora's Tiny's café is open Thursday to Sunday crafting delicious sandwiches.
