Founded in 2013 by Noah Chaimberg who started by selling a curated selection of his favorite hot sauce brands from a push cart at Brooklyn markets. A Kickstarter campaign helped Heatonist establish a permanent home in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with an outpost in Manhattan's Chelsea Market.

Heatonist has a focus small batch, artisanal makers from around the globe, that use only natural ingredients. They offer more than 100 all natural hot sauces, plenty of online packages, gift sets and a monthly subscription.
