La Fromagerie has three award-winning shops in London that all feature their signature cheeserooms and cafés. Highbury Park was the first location opening in 1992 followed by the Marylebone and Bloomsbury stores in 2002 and 2017.

All three La Fromagerie stores offer a wide selection of artisanal and farmhouse cheese, curated cheese boards - cheeses chosen to complement each other, gift boxes, an assortment of French and Italian wines, charcuterie, and their own brand of cheese accompaniments. La Fromagerie also offer "destination" supper evenings, menus based on rotating, seasonal destinations, cheese board workshops, cheese & wine tastings, cookbook author events, and private events.

La Fromagerie was founded by Patricia Michelson who started by selling cheese from her garden shed followed by a stall at Camden Market. Patricia has published two books, The Cheese Room and CHEESE as well as establishing successful cheese shops and a wholesale business.
